Shorebirds over Brooks Island

Paddling around the back side of Brooks Island, you come across another, smaller island - just a big rock, really - owned by pelicans, gulls, and cormorants. As this flock flew over, it seemed like their hive mind was conflicted about whether to land or to keep going.
